Obituary

James PerryJames P. Perry, a member of Grace of God Fellowship in Tucson, Arizona, passed away on September 15, 2011. He was born in Arkansas on July 16, 1925. After finishing high school, Jim joined the Navy. Upon completion of his service time, he moved to New York. Jim was baptized on Feb. 1, 1966. In 1980, he moved to Tucson, where he served many years as a deacon. Jim is survived by his two daughters, Debbie Perry and Jackie Jonson, his son-in-law William Johnson, two grandsons, Calvin Fearrington and Michael Perry, and five great-grandchildren, one nephew- Claude Brown- and two cousins, Jean and Ted Green.

Jim volunteered at Bio-Touch, in Tucson, and a memorial service was held at that location on September 22, for his "bowling buddies", and the staff of Bio-Touch, plus patients that he had helped. Seventeen members of GOGF also attended. Elder James Mullady gave the eulogy, and many of the attendees gave testimonials concerning Jim.

At GOGF on October 2, 2011, Pastor Ted Millhuff gave a sermon that included some things that Jim did in his life and then gave a eulogy. Many members gave their testimonials. A potluck dinner followed with many more stories about Jim.

Mr. Perry was a loving and giving servant of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He walked the talk and was a living example of Mathew 25:36-40.
