Birmingham,
Alabama will celebrate its 50th anniversary on February 12, 2012.
Birmingham had its first service on February 24, 1962. It was the second
congregation of the Radio Church of God established in the
Southeastern United States. Its closest sister churches were Memphis,
Tennessee, and Big Sandy, Texas. We are pleased that we will have Joe and Tammy
Tkach as our special guests. If you are interested in attending, contact

several years to revisit a home you have lived in or a place where you have
worked. Although I was never actually assigned to the Ambassador University
campus in Big Sandy, Texas, I knew it well. I visited often, as a guest
lecturer from church headquarters to teach a few classes or as a video writer
and director for the church’s television department.
